Associate Publisher

Publish a newspaper for your region's construction industry:

You will find this opportunity ideal  if you are comfortable working independently, wish to work from your own home, and do not wish to invest money in a business.  We publish regional construction trade newspapers in several cities in the United States and Canada, and you may qualify to work with us in establishing and overseeing a newspaper in your community.

Compensation is on a commission basis; our publishers generally earn between $40,000 and $90,000 per year.  We'll show you the ropes and provide training and guidance.  If you do well, enhanced multi-market opportunities with profit sharing opportunities can enhance your income further.

A sales background and orientation is helpful; knowledge of the construction industry is useful but not essential.  Our publications work best in metropolitan areas with a population of 500,000 or more.  Because we will invest our own money in getting the publication off the ground, we are selective in who we select.  You will work with us on an independent contractor basis.

Our methodologies reduce the sales cycle and resistance, while building good-will and market support in your community.  You'll enjoy independence, freedom from supervision, and a family-compatible lifestyle because virtually all work is done during regular weekday business hours (with no need for rush hour commuting).  We'll provide support and services for all aspects of the business.

This is a great opportunity if you are self-reliant but don't want to pour your money into an untried business.  The construction industry is a multi-billion dollar sector with special qualities that ensure the value and utility of a local publication dedicated to the industry.  We've learned how to create locally relevant content effectively and inexpensively, and to generate high-yield advertising sales, all within a framework of an easy-to-manage, low overhead enterprise.
